No VIP recommendations for Tirumala Vaikunta Ekadasi Darshan

Tirumala: TTD President YV Subba Reddy called on all VIPs not to send letters of recommendation for the Vaikunta Ekadasi / Dwadasi darshans which will start on January 13th. In the auspicious days of Vaikunta Ekadasi and Dwadasi, vaikuntadwara darshan will be offered from January 13 to 22 for worshipers.

Speaking to Reporters here on Sunday appealed to the people and supported Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam’s decision to provide hassle-free Vaikunta Ekadasi and Dwadasi darshan to ordinary devotees who purchased tickets online. He said that no recommendation letter will be accepted at the president’s office.
In view of the ongoing repairs to many cabins and rooms in Tirumala, accommodation for all legislators is being arranged in the Nandakam and Vakulamatha nursing homes and if the accommodation in Tirumala is not sufficient, they should be prepared to make a stop in Tirupati itself, he added.

TTD chairman said SRIVANI Trust devotees should take rooms at Madhavam, Srinivasam, Sri Padmavati Nilayam and SV guesthouse in Tirupati.

Advance booking of accommodation was canceled from January 11-14.

All rooms in Tirumala will be allocated by current reservation to pilgrims and there will be no accommodation reservation privilege for donors from January 11-14.

TTD also called on the faithful to bring the negative Covid report taken 48 hours before or the certificate of two doses of vaccination without fail.

Annaprasadam will be served to pilgrims from 4 a.m. to midnight to all pilgrims during these auspicious days following Covid standards.
