Dozee Recognized for Digital Innovation in Healthcare at FICCI Healthcare Excellence Awards 2022

- In his 14e edition of the Healthcare Excellence Awards, the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) awarded Dozee in the Digital Innovation in Healthcare category.
- The award was presented to Dozee by Smt. Smriti Irani, Minister of Women and Child Development and Minority Affairs of India, for excellence in digitizing and automating healthcare infrastructure using cloud-based contactless remote patient monitoring technology.
Dozee, India’s first contactless AI-powered remote patient monitoring (RPM) company, has received the 2022 Healthcare Excellence Award from the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) in the Digital Innovation in Healthcare category.
The award recognizes Dozee’s groundbreaking work to improve the state of India’s healthcare system by engaging in public-private partnerships to ensure that quality care is made available to every patient. Having worked with hospitals across the country’s public and private healthcare landscape, Dozee has helped address the shortage of critical care beds as well as the shortage of healthcare workers in the country.
Leading with its “Make in India, Made for the World” vision – Dozee develops technology to fill healthcare gaps in developing countries. With its Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM) and Early Warning System (EWS), Dozee saves time for doctors and nurses, while simultaneously delivering better patient safety and clinical outcomes.

Submissions to the Digital Innovation in Healthcare category of the FICCI Healthcare Excellence Awards were evaluated based on the viability and scalability of the healthcare solution’s potential to help healthcare professionals diagnose and treat patients more effectively.
Dozee is India’s first AI-powered non-contact Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM) and Early Warning (EWS) system for continuous and automated patient monitoring in non-critical care wards such as Nursing intensive, HDUs, VIP rooms, COVID services and general services. Supported by the Government of India through BIRAC, Dozee is bringing remarkable change to the public and private healthcare systems in India with the aim of delivering connected health in every bed. Dozee unit tracks vital parameters such as heart rate, respiratory rate, NiBP, SPO2, patient temperature (AHI) with 98.4% clinical level accuracy, tracks patient’s sleep quality while reporting indicators of sleep apnea.
The system is ISO 13485, ISO 27001, IEC 60601 -1-2, RoHS certified and CDSCO registered. And it’s USFDA 510K that’s in progress. Dozee also received ISO 13485:2016 certification in December 2021, from Intertek for its Quality Management System (QMS). This certification is part of the quality journey with ISO/IEC 27001:2013, Information security management.
IIT graduates Mudit Dandwate and Gaurav Parchani founded Dozee in October 2015, and the company has now raised over Rs 139 crore. Dozee has also applied for a number of patents related to the identification and prediction of respiratory, cardiac and neurological patterns as well as the detailed examination of vital signs to provide early warning of health issues.
