Celebrity Silhouette arrives in Southampton

Celebrity Cruises’ fourth ship to undergo modernization
The ship is Celebrity Cruises’ fourth ship to be upgraded, in fleet-wide upgrades and redesigned spaces costing the line a total of $ 500 million.
On-board features now include an open-air hideaway, The Retreat, available exclusively to suite passengers, which includes a private terrace and lounge designed by British designer Kelly Hoppen CBE.
New cardio machines and weight-training equipment from Technogym are located in the renovated fitness center.
Entertainment program aboard British cruises
Live performances by illusionist Matt McGurk, as well as the Barricade Boys and The Beatles Celebration will take place on board.
Inspirational lectures will be provided by Penny Mallory, the world‘s first female World Rally Car driver for Ford and Derek Redmond, a former British athlete.
Health and security
The ship will sail with fully vaccinated passengers aged 18 and over; they must present proof of a negative PCR test carried out up to or within three days of departure.
Passengers aged 24 months to 17 years will be required to undergo an antigen test at the terminal before boarding. All crew members are vaccinated.
VIP guests aboard the first sailing include the winners of Celebrity Cruises’ Giving Back To Heroes competition – a program providing free rooms to UK NHS Blue Light cardholders for their work throughout the pandemic.
